Hi, I'm Motte. It means moth in German. I got it as a nickname while playing Sky: Children of the Light. It's a pretty good game, you should try it! New players are called "moths" by experienced ones, and at the time I was in deep trying to learn German. So I got named "Motte." :)

I have tried making websites a few times before, all on neocities (link should be in the yellow navigation bar) and all attempts went pretty unfinished. I keep coming up with grandiose ideas of what to stuff in a site, but I want this one to be more normal, and able to change with me. I also want to keep the layout reeeallly simple this time - my neocities is an unfixable mess of conflicting and outdated CSS.

Since this site is just going to be basically whatever I want it to be, right now I really want to make a page about making a site. I keep finding hidden gems on personal sites, and then they disappear into my browser history, never to be seen again!! So I want to catalogue some of my favourites over there.

I'd also like to upload some stuff about sidesaddles. I am a huge nerd, see my neocities for more. Except my neocities page still barely scratches the surface of all the cool stuff I want to share with people!!! And it's a pain trying to upload any of it now, owing to my fucked up CSS.

In the meantime, I think this is "done" enough that I can upload it to NekoWeb properly now, but most of my updates in the near future will probably just be more tidying up of formatting and adding the many pages you can see I have planned :)
